Sonam Kapoor
Well, this lady has a reputation of making controversial statements without even caring about the consequences. It all started when Sonam Kapoor had replaced Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the brand ambassador of Loreal The fashionista had raised eyebrows by calling Aishwarya an aunty. The fashionista had said, “Ash has worked with my dad, so I have to call her aunty na?” Ouch! Sonam’s comment did hurt Aishwarya who ensured that she didn’t walk the red carpet for the brand at the Cannes. Well, we thought Sonam had got over Aishwarya until her recent comments on her purple lipstick at Cannes. Well, seems like this lady won’t stop her controversial chatter.
Deepika Padukone
Known for her professional nature, Deepika Padukone has always chosen her words wisely when speaking about any B’town celebrity. But, her comment on ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor had made headlines. Deepika had advised Ranbir to endorse condoms on Karan Johar’s popular celebrity chat show Koffee with Karan. She had said, "I'd like to gift a pack of condoms to Ranbir because he uses them too much."
While Ranbir took this statement sportingly and accepted the proposal, it rubbed Rishi Kapoor wrongly who had lashed out at both Deepika and Sonam who was also a part of that episode. Though Deepika and Ranbir have buried hatchets and later worked together in ‘Yeh Jawaani hai Deewani', her statement is still counted as one of the most controversial celebrity statements.
Aamir Khan
The Khan rivalry is not a new thing, neither for us and nor for the tinsel town. Though pretending to be friends, Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir are rivals in the true face and don’t leave a stone unturned to taunt each other. Though most of their reactions go unnoticed, some have made headlines and led to fights too in the past. One such was of Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s statement on his blog that shocked not only his fans but Shahrukh also. Aamir had compared Shahrukh to a dog by saying, “Shahrukh is licking my feet and I’m feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more can I ask for? This comment of Aamir had indeed questioned his perfectionist tag.
Salman Khan
Bhaijaan Salman Khan had also shocked everyone with his shocking reaction on Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya starrer Guzaarish. “Arre Koi Kutta bhi dekhne nahin gaya,” he had said while commenting on the viewership of the film. Well, this statement of his came after his relation with Sanjay Leela Bhansali turned sour, which the actor vented on his film. The actor was present at a television award, where he had also felicitated the physically handicapped. Salman, who is known for being a religious avenger, took this opportunity and lashed at Bhansali’s film.
Jaya Bachchan
Remember that infamous Khan battle at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party post which the tinsel town was divided into two clans, one of Shahrukh Khan and the other of Salman Khan. During their verbal spat, both Shahrukh and Salman had criticized their respective television shows. But, Shahrukh went overboard and had passed a comment on Salman’s ex Aishwarya Rai Bachchan that had irked mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan. In an interview, Jaya had said, “I would have slapped Shah Rukh if he had made any infamous statement about Aishwarya in my presence.” Well, Jaya’s statement, who had worked with Shahrukh in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’ and ‘Kal Ho Na Ho,’ showed fury for Shahrukh.
Priyanka Chopra
Quantico star Piggy Chops has not only conquered Bollywood but also made a mark in Hollywood. The actress who recently won a Padmashree for her contribution to cinema has always shared a cold relationship with Kareena Kapoor. While Bebo has always openly passed a comment, Piggy Chops too had a word for a word. One such instance, when Kareena’s reaction on Priyanka winning a national award, didn’t go well with the talented actress and she expressed her anger in her witty way. She had said, “Well I guess if you don’t have one (National Award) then, it’s just sour grapes, you know. What do I say?” Ooh…that was indeed a bitchy reply that shut Kareena’s jealous mouth.
Shahid Kapoor
Sasha had also shocked everyone by comparing Kareena Kapoor with a cow and a buffalo. Shahid and Kareena, who are a part of the forthcoming film Udta Punjab, were not in good terms. When once questioned on if he would work with Kareena, Shahid had said, “If my director wants me to work with a cow or a buffalo, I’m ready to do it.” While Kareena had thanked Shahid while receiving a Best Actress award for ‘Jab We Met’, Shahid’s comment showed a sheer anger for her.
